J. L. Ski is an indie romance author, wife, and proud mom to a beautiful little girl. With a vivid imagination and a lifelong love of getting lost in stories, she writes modern romances filled with relatable characters, complicated relationships, and worlds that offer readers a place to escape for a while.

Her own writing journey began during a difficult season of life. While navigating an autoimmune disorder and anxiety, she found herself turning to writing as an outlet. What started as a place to pour her imagination and emotions soon became something much bigger—a passion she couldn’t imagine giving up.

A devoted reader herself, Jordan has a particular love for romance and fantasy romance. She loves stories that make readers feel deeply, characters who aren’t perfect, and relationships that are messy, emotional, and worth rooting for.

Behind every book is a family cheering her on. Jordan is incredibly grateful for her supportive husband and family, who encourage her to chase this dream—even when that means another story has taken over her brain.

When she isn’t writing, reading, or thinking about her next WIP, you’ll usually find her doing the role that matters most to her: trying to be the best mom she can be to her daughter.
